Kadhi and Village Industries- Introduction

According to Mahathma Gandhi, India lives in its villages, based on this. our Ashram was started in 1940 by a Gandhian worker Mr.G.Venkatachalapathy, providing job opportunities to rural youth and students, thereby improving their living and also enhancing the development of villagers.

From the beginning, it has been functioning as a non-profitable organization. It also acts as a training centre as well as production centre. Which makes the people self-relient. According to the changes in time and needs of the people 1. Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan 2. Leather and Rexine goods manufacturing 3. Soap and detergent production 4. Wooden furniture production 5. Steel furniture production. Provide employment opportunities to the surrounding villagers and the products are manufactured and sold with quality. The profit from these manufacturing work is being used for the development of 2500 students and village service.
