Next, entered on the stage, Santa Claus, popularly known as “Chirstmas Thatha” amidst the roaring cheers from the children. Mr.Mariappan, our Primary School Teacher was a perfect man to enact this role. Clad in the usual costume of a Santa Claus, with a long white beard and a funny cap, his tumbled walk roused ripples of laughter. Every one applauded his every gesture and word. He narrated his tale as if he was coming from Heaven the abode of God and enroute he visited America met George Bush and Obama; Britain ,Japan, Pakistan and finally he has come to India. After meeting Manmohan Singh in Delhi, he is now in the famous Ashram to meet and wish Merry Chirstmas and Happy New year to our Ashramites. He blessed the students for their good achievements and bright future. He assured them that he is there with them, as a messenger of God, to assist them and guide them in their daily activities.

Finally our Primary School students staged a drama ”BIRTH OF JESUS” which included the episodes of Miracles of Jesus. Tiny tots in their roles as Mother Mary, Joseph and even cattle were all enchanting.

Mrs. Vasantha, Primary School Headmistress, proposed vote of thanks. With the lighted candles, twinkling stars, colorful X-Mas tree and floating balloons spreading the message of love and peace, the function came to an end after singing the National Anthem.
